New project for and with disabled children

With support from the French embassy MMCC is this summer starting a project for and with disabled children. As an initial part of the project we invited a local community center for disabled for a volleyball match. The match was won by MMCC – but… only with a very small difference in the score.

The overall aim of the handicap project is to develop creative and educational methods that will enable handicap children to participate on equal bases with other children in all MMCC’s activities. Part of the project focuses on developing of new methods that will be utilized for making workshops for teachers and organizations working with disabled children starting next spring.
