MMCC’s mobile artists ready to go on tour

Spring is the time of the year where MMCC’s mobile artists perform at schools in the provinces. This year the mobile performance includes education about Landmine Awareness.

When the mobile artists go on tour they use a rented car and bring a mobile stage, colorful big props, decorations and a sound system. Most performances are made at schools that often has many thousands students. This year a large number of the performances will be made in villages and more remote areas where the children normally do not have access to see a live performance. One performance last for approximately one hour and it always includes a mix of education and fun, entertaining and circus.

The educational landmine awareness performance is developed in MMCC’s center where the children have assisted with feedback. Mine Risk Education is naturally a very sensitive subject where all messages needs to be very clear and easy understandable. The performance is approved by UN’s Mine Risk organization, UNMACA
