Takamol – an MMCC child

Ten men was chosen from the audition MMCC held in august 2002. The young male actors became quickly a well-functioning theatre-group lead by Aziz Baraki.
More than hundred people showed up when Theatre Takamol an afternoon in October had an opening at Aschiana. The child-center is the daily base for MMCCs activities as well as for the theatre. In order to raise money for the center, tickets were sold to foreigners.

As a part of MMCCs activities Takamol have trained children to participate in performances. During the autum 2002 the child and adult actors three times went to Bagram in order to raise money for some of the centers that works with street-working children in Kabul.
Takamol has now grown into an independent theatre which is able to stand on it own feet and MMCC has moved on to new activities.
 

At the Bagram fundraiser, the actors seized the opportunity to have their photo taken in a flashy car..
